The first thing you should do on the day that we come to do your driveway sealing is to turn off your sprinkler system. And, if you need to use any vehicles, make sure they are out of the garage but not on any part of the driveway that will be cleaned and sealed.
If the garage door closes on the driveway pavers and no one is going to be home on the day of your driveway sealing, please make prior arrangements with us or ensure that the garage door is left open.
Schedule any lawn maintenance and landscaping at least two days after we have completed the job to allow for sufficient curing time. Also request the lawn care company not to make tight turns on the driveway with vehicles, riding equipment or mowers to prevent tire markings.
During and After the Driveway Sealing Procedure:
- Because we will be using powerful pressure washers, there will be dust and sand all over. But don’t worry; our team will wash down all the mess!
- 4 hours after we have completed the job, the driveway can be open to foot traffic.
- 48 hours after cleaning and sealing, you can open the driveway to vehicular traffic. However, do not make any sudden stops or tight turns on it to prevent tire marks.
